Implementation Forum of the Distribution-level Flexibility Market (ERPI)
Implementation Forum of the Distribution-level Flexibility Market (ERPI)
The ERPI Forum is part of a larger project launched by ZKK, which aims to discuss and monitor the development of the Hungarian decarbonisation model among a wide stakeholder group (market participants, network companies, regulators, academia).
Flexibility is the key area of the next decade in the electricity sector. The way in which the distribution-level flexibility market is developed can have a decisive impact on the success of the decarbonisation steps. This new market must be able to address the already significant DSO-level challenges and effectively complement the existing but evolving balancing and ancillary services market of the TSO.
The purpose of the Forum is to support the development of the distribution-level flexibility market, to discuss among a wide stakeholder group including potential participants and the academia the main cornerstones and to monitor the implementation process.
Professional leader of the Forum: Dr. Pálma Szolnoki
Forum participants :
- Regulation: Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology; Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (HEA)
